The night before christmas

A commenter at TPM describes how Democrats feel right about now:

It's like it's almost Christmas, and it looks like there's a new bike wrapped up under the tree.

But my abusive parents have given me boxes of shit on the last two Christmases. So, emotionally crippled, I can't help but suspect that it's a bike made of shit.
