I finally got a chance to watch Charlie Gibson's interview with Sarah Palin. I was struck by her actual belief, which seems to be genuine, that she is qualified. She really is just that naive to believe the accomplishments that she possesses are enough. When she was asked if she had ever met a foreign leader she actually looked upset and than said that she wants to change Washington and that requires someone who doesn't have a long Washington resume. If I hear the McCain Campaign say that Obama doesn't have the experience to lead on day one again...
Even after the comment, "Alaska is close to Russia", was ridculed she came back to it and even elaborated on it. I'd like to know if Putin had ever heard of Sarah Palin before she was brought on board. I wonder if she will start to doubt herself in the next few weeks as she is prepared for these interviews that she will be doing. It'll be like midterms on steroids.
